The Network Adminstrator’s role is to ensure proper network and computer operations enabling end users to accomplish organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution involves the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools. The individual will also provide hands-on help at the desktop level. This role will also include some systems administration such as onboarding and off-boarding employees as well as tracking company assets.

Administration and maintenance of:
Microsoft Active Directory, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit for desktop imaging (MDT), Microsoft Exchange, CommVault Enterprise Backup, Cisco Wireless infrastructure.

Support and troubleshoot connectivity issues for both local and remote users: WAN, VPN, wireless and wired. Assist with Service Desk support tickets at all levels. Fill in for all Level 1 help desk support when necessary.

Assist with IT Infrastructure projects ie Telepresence, Cisco Call Manager, Office 365, Exchange/SharePoint online, new office setups, remote infrastructure upgrades and improvements

Develop help desk and knowledge base articles for end users as well as train users on equipment and software use. Maintain and improve help desk ticketing system

Maintenance and administration of Core Infrastructure components such as: DNS, DHCP, SSL Cert (PKI) services, Print Servers, KMS licensing services, WSUS, SQL services and databases related to Infrastructure.

Develop and maintain documentation for both service desk and Infrastructure SOPs

Training and acquisition of new skills. Also assist in training other members of group through knowledge transfer.

Requirements:
7-10 years of related experience
Must have expert experience with windows OS and Office Applications
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Certification (Server Infrastructure, Desktop Infrastructure, etc.)
Citrix Experience
VMWare Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer related or mathematics curriculum

Experience troubleshooting issues with network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)

Microsoft Windows Server Administration skills (AD, PowerShell, replication, user management)
3)
Experience with Microsoft OS, Mac OS and Linux
4)
Desktop imaging and automation
5)
Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Management

Must have knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols
