Job Description:

The Procurement Analyst will provide support to the Procurement team by assisting with reporting, administrative duties, and procuring.


· Spend data analytics 

· Category market research 

· Supports Strategic Sourcing process activities 

· Business Continuity planning and tracking 

· Supports financial budgeting process 

· Identify Tail Spend opportunities 

· Supports and tracks key Supplier performance metrics and contractual commitments (rebates, productivity, equipment amortization, etc.) 

· Supports the collection of quality specifications 

· Pricing: 

o Validation of price change requests according to contract

o Supports contract price entry and updates in the system 

o Invoice kick-out and price discrepancy resolution

· Manage activities related to loading new Suppliers into the System 

· Cross-Functional interaction with R&D, Quality, Finance, Marketing, Planning and Accounts Payable

Experience, Skills, Education: 

· Bachelor’s Degree required

· 2-3 years of procurement or supply chain experience highly preferred 

· Previous food manufacturing and/or CPG experience preferred 

· Project management experience a plus 

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills needed 

· ERP system experience required, preferably JD Edwards
